PETROLERN has been awarded a “Geomechanical Modelling and Wellbore Stability” Study by Cuadrilla Resources in the UK as part of a drilling campaign in the Preston New Road exploration site. This is an interesting and challenging project involving the appraisal and testing of the Bowland Shale Gas, the first shale gas play to be hydraulically fractured in the UK. The program includes drilling the first ever onshore horizontal well in the UK.
This project will open the door to PETROLERN for further studies to optimize drilling, completion and stimulation operations in the Bowland Shale Gas. Thanks to Cuadrilla Resources for giving PETROLERN this wonderful opportunity.
