PETROLERN signed a contract with Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI) to conduct a joint project for PetroVietnam Exploration & Production Corporation (PVEP) in offshore Vietnam. The project consists of the development of geomechanical models and stimulation strategies for the Thang Long field, a depleted tight sandstone reservoir. A kick-off meeting was held in Ho Chi Minh in July 2018. PETROLERN’s objective is to transfer the knowledge to VPI during this collaborative project.
