A very successful course titled “Application of Geomechanics for Completions and Hydraulic Fracturing Design” was conducted by Dr Hamed Soroush and Dr Tony Addis for PPL in Karachi, Pakistan, 5-14 February 2019. The course was well attended and received by 25 PPL staff from Production Technology, Reservoir Modelling, and Exploration Departments. The brilliant participants turned the course to 10 days of interesting and high-level technical discussions. Many thanks to PPL management for giving PETROLERN the opportunity to conduct the course; thanks to Rockfield for providing Elfen licenses to the participants for 3D modelling exercises; and special thanks to the instructors for the excellent job.
